Are you one of those families who have become too tangled with technology? Well, I don’t see anything wrong with that for as long as you set some limitations. It becomes bad when it comes to the point where we sacrifice parenting for convenience like sending text messages to your kids to tell them it’s dinner time instead of going up to their room to call them.
We may be too entangled with our gadgets but we should also spend time with our families. Set aside an hour or so after supper to do some things together. While watching a movie sounds like a great idea, playing board games is a lot of fun. Why? You get to bond with each other and make relationships stronger. Most board games are educational so you’re teaching your kids while having fun. And while you’re at it, you can easily communicate with your children. Seize the opportunity to ask them how their day went and how they are doing in school.
Board games are enjoyable and a cheap way to entertain your family. If you’re not into it, now is the time to start spending quality time with your kids and see them grow up right before your eyes.
