Product Review: Meet Lulu Coloring Book, App and Stylus

    Posted on @ 12:36 am

I was very thrilled when I found out I was one of the lucky bloggers given the opportunity to review Meet Lulu Coloring Book, App and Stylus. I didn’t tell my niece, yet because I wanted to surprise her.

    meet lulu 11

Some things you should know about the product

The Special 3-in-1 Activity Book Includes
    1) Physical Coloring Book: 32-pages made of 100% recycled paper. Over 10 different characters!
    2) Crayon Stylus: Fun “crayon-like” experience – enhance any drawing and coloring on touch screens
    3) Coloring App: Digital version of all our coloring books plus 1-click sharing with Mom & Dad.

    How Does It Work?
Start by coloring on our physical coloring books. Then scan the QR Code on the top of the page to continue coloring on an electronic device like an iPad or Kindle.
In addition, your child can easily scan the full page with the Painting Lulu App which will display a digital version of his coloring page on your mobile device. It comes with a cute Digital Stylus that looks just like a crayon and color all year long.

    – Great for inspiring creative expression and exploring color
    – Get full access to the official Painting Lulu App – Perfect for travel and on-the-go
    – Revolutionary patent pending technology, scan colored pages and watch it magically appear in the App!
    – Free digital crayon stylus inside – The magic of color without the mess
    – 100% recycled paper with 32 pages

    My Thoughts

Just as I expected, Nikki was as excited as I was. As soon as she saw it, she wanted to start coloring right away. I downloaded the app first on our tablet while she was coloring Lucy. As soon as the app was installed, we tried scanning the page that she colored. She continued coloring there using the stylus. She was very thrilled with the crayon-like stylus.

    meet lulu 5

    meet lulu 10

I love that it has a one-click share feature which allows your child to share her creations with other members of the family. The only drawback is their work can’t be saved.

Overall, my niece had a wonderful experience with this product. This 3 in 1 activity book is so cool I am sure many children will like it.

    Recommendation

If you are looking for a fun activity for your kids, this one is so worth giving a try. They will love the coloring book and continue coloring it using a smartphone or tablet and they would be thrilled with the cute stylus.

    Where to buy?

Meet Lulu Coloring Book, App and Stylus is available on their website and on Amazon.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

    Product Review: PicStick Photo Magnets

    Posted on September 24, 2014 @ 12:30 am

About a week ago, I was contacted by PicStick to review their photo magnets. I didn’t hesitate because I was very thrilled that I would get to review this. I love taking photos of our twins and it would be great if I’d see those photos anywhere in the house.

We have taken a lot of photos and all of them are saved in digital albums. Only a few of them gets developed. Although digital pics are very convenient, I miss the old days when films are developed in order for you to see the photos. I’m really glad I was given the opportunity to review the photo magnets. This a super cool way to display photos.

    picstick 1

    picstick 3

    My Thoughts

The site is very easy to use. I was asked to choose 9 photos on my PicStick sheet. It didn’t even take me long to choose because I can upload from my computer, tablet, phone, Facebook account or even from a Dropbox account. It’s super quick and easy! After I’ve made my selection, I just saved the PicSticks to my basket and checked out.

One sheet of Picstick magnets contains nine magnets, so you can choose nine of your favorite pics. This costs £9.50 plus free shipping. It’s fairly priced considering that the magnets are of high quality, the photos are very clear and they ship anywhere in the world.

After I’ve checked out, I didn’t expect that I’d get the photos in a matter of days because I am in the Philippines. I received an email the next day saying that it was shipped. I was surprised when the mailman rang our doorbell and handed me the envelope after only a few days.

    Recommendation

These photo magnets are such a cool way to display your favorite pics anywhere around the house. They are very affordable and would make great gifts to family and friends.

    Where to buy?

Please click here to purchase the glossy magnetic pictures from PicStick. If you click now, you can take advantage of the 25% discount. Simply use the code MOM25.

Product Review: Body Merry’s Cellulite Defense Gel-Cream

    Posted on September 22, 2014 @ 2:22 am

I never really tried applying a cream or lotion to my stretch marks because I didn’t think there is a product that could wipe them off. Then, I was given a chance to try out Body Merry’s Cellulite Defense Gel-Cream, so let’s see.

    body merry 1

    body merry 2

I gave birth to my second child eons ago, so I had my daughter try the cream. She gave birth to twin girls, so you can just imagine how awful her tummy looked after giving birth. That was three years ago. Now, her tummy is, of course, a lot smaller, but the marks are still there. When the cream arrived, she tried it right away.

    Product Description

OPTIMUM CAFFEINE + RETINOL: Body Merry’s cellulite cream has a high Caffeine content and the optimum level of Retinol (0.4%), as recommended by experts. Beware of other creams with ‘the most amount of caffeine and retinol’. When it comes to the power of retinol in fighting cellulite, less is MORE!
NATURAL + ORGANIC: This cream also contains potent natural and organic ingredients such as 3 types of Seaweed (Algae Extract + Kelp + Dulse), Organic Cayenne, Japanese Green Tea Leaf Extract and many more!
NO HARSH CHEMICALS: Free from harsh chemicals such as Parabens, Sulfates and Phthalates.
MADE IN USA + CRUELTY FREE: The cream is made in the USA in an advanced FDA registered and GMP compliant facility. Body Merry’s products are not tested on animals.
MANUFACTURER GUARANTEE: Body Merry’s products are backed with a 90 Day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. If you don’t like this cream, just contact us and get a full refund. Best of all, you don’t even need to return the jar.

    body merry 3

    body merry 4

My Thoughts (or should I say our thoughts?)

The gel-cream has a nice minty scent, but it didn’t linger when my daughter applied it. It has a nice consistency and is not sticky at all. It’s been more than a week since she started using it and we’ve noticed a slight lightening of the marks. I guess it works for the marks to finally lighten up. They used to be so dark! She said that she will continue to use it; we are both hoping and you could say expecting for the promised results.

    Recommendation

If you’re looking for a product to improve the looks of your stretch marks, I think this is a great product to try. With just a few days of use, it did lighten up my daughter’s stretch marks. Another good thing about this gel-cream is that it is made of natural ingredients that will not hurt the skin.

    Where to buy?

Body Merry’s Cellulite Defense Gel-Cream is available on Amazon.

Tenantify Helps You Find the Right Tenant

    Posted on September 15, 2014 @ 11:43 pm

Do you perform a screening and criminal background check before closing a deal with a tenant? It’s alright to skip these steps if you already know the person who’s going to rent your property, but you must perform these if you don’t know the person from Adam.

    keys

It’s easier for the criminal information since this is a matter of public record. These records can be accessed at various court houses. By simply keying in the name and date of birth, the check will turn up both serious and minor offenses of the person. Just be sure to ask for a valid ID because people with criminal records will likely try to falsify this info.

Verifying the employment and the income may not be as easy because as I have mentioned earlier, documents can be falsified. You do not want to do business with a tenant who may not be able to afford the rent in the months to come and you will be left dealing with an eviction or searching for a new tenant once again. You don’t have to deal with all these by yourself though, because there’s a website called Tenantify to take the load off of you. And with no extra cost! Tenantify will do all the screening and charge it to the tenant. They will pass you the report as soon as they are done with the screening.

Never fall victim with fraudulent documents again. Tenantify saves you time and money and will help you choose the right tenant for your property.

    Wedding Flowers on a Budget

    Posted on September 4, 2014 @ 8:21 pm

Besides you and your wedding dress, the flowers in your wedding are the next most photographed items. That is why it is truly important to pay close attention to this detail. Pick a wedding bouquet and centerpieces that truly match your wedding style. Oh, but you don’t have to spend so much on flowers. Below are some tips to help you save on blooms and still have the wedding of your dreams.

    Swap the pricey flowers

Roses are very popular and that makes most of us think that these blossoms are costly. Wrong. Calla Lilies and Peonies can be way more expensive.

    bloominous 4

    Use more greens than flowers

Having more greens in your wedding not only creates a fresher ambience; you save money as well from buying too many flowers.

    bloominous 1

    The fewer the better

Just pick one or two kinds of flowers and only buy flowers that are in season. They are definitely cheaper than off season flowers that you are most like to order from different places.

    bloominous 2

Make your own bouquets and centerpieces

Don’t know how? There are websites that offer step by step guides on how to make the most gorgeous bouquets and centerpieces like the ones found at Bloominous. Not only are these DIY arrangements kits for weddings simple and affordable, they will surely make your wedding unforgettable, too.

    bloominous 5

    bloominous 3

    Include non-floral ornaments

Lanterns and candles are a lot less expensive than flowers and adding them to your floral arrangements will definitely add a unique touch to your wedding decorations.
