    Believe it or not

    Posted on @ 12:59 pm

Hubs’ Chinese horoscope two years ago was spot on.  He’s not supposed to attend any kind of ceremony, visit sick persons and  funerals.  At first he did not take notice of it until his cousin passed away.  So as expected, he attended the wake.   Lo and behold!  He fell ill.  Not even a few days after but on the very night he got home.  Being the skeptic that he is, he did not take heed.  Lo and behold! He visited a sick friend in the hospital.  Believe it or not, he collapsed for no apparent reason.  The TeleMedium Phone Psychics were right all along.

There are things that we really cannot explain and sometimes, we should step back and take note of what our fortunes tell us.  There’s really no harm in avoiding things that should be avoided.  I’m not the type of person who base my life on what a fortune teller says, but I have to admit that sometimes,  my curiosity leads me to want to talk to a psychic and know what’s in store for me.  I also like reading horoscopes and it amuses me when things written there really happen.  It may just be pure coincidence but I find it quite astounding.  I also strongly believe that man makes his own destiny, but I don’t see anything wrong when a person calls a psychic line to ask for help or guidance. It’s always better to be prudent than sorry.

    Pet Matters

    Posted on January 28, 2009 @ 3:15 pm

picture55As mommies, we work hard to reduce our family’s exposure to household toxins, but we may be forgetting our furry friends.  I didn’t realize this until reading from a magazine that our pets may be facing a greater risk than us.

It makes a lot of sense because most of the time, pets sleep on the couch, roll around on the floor, and get dust carrying toxic chemicals all over their fur and then they lick it off.  Our kids face a great risk too because they love to cuddle our pets.

To lessen our pets’ exposure, it would help to vacuum often to keep carpets and furniture dust-free.  Resist adding stain-proofing treatments when buying new furnitures.  These chemicals can make our pets sick.  Also make sure that they are getting high-quality food, choose the ones without the chemical preservations.  It may be a bit pricey but you’ll save more in the end.

    Being angry

    Posted on @ 8:10 am

“Speak when you are angry and you will make the best speech you will ever regret.

    ~Ambrose Bierce ~

When we’re angry, we tend to say whatever comes to mind.  I seldom get angry but I have to admit that when I am, I talk a lot.  I say whatever it is I want to say and no matter how much I try to control it, words just keep on coming out.  And regret, comes right after.

I’m trying to overcome it by writing it down.  I want to learn to vent my anger without judging and hurting other people. I’m doing good so far.  How about you?  Do you stuff it down or you speak your mind?

    Losing more? Switch!

    Posted on @ 1:50 pm

Are you satisfied with your present web hosting solution? I have been seeing a lot of posts about bloggers complaining about their current web hosts. I used to complain a lot too when I was still with another company.  I have experienced hours and hours of downtimes which resulted to lapsed paid writings opportunities.  There was even an instance when outage lasted for two and a half days.

One of my friends have been telling me to switch but being frugal prevented me from doing so.  I was too concerned with the money I spent for Hosting.  You see, I paid for a full year and I wanted to at least finish the contract. It turned out that I’m losing more.  After two more downtimes, I finally decided to switch.  And boy I’m glad I did!  With almost the same price I paid my former hosting service I get 1000 MB space, 10000 MB Data Transfer, I can host unlimited domains, 99% uptime, a full control over my domain name and many more.

If you too are not satisfied with your present host, I suggest you visit their site and see for yourself this great offer.  If you’re not satisfied, they have a 30 day money back guarantee.

sistersMy sister and I had a heated argument the day after New Year’s Day.  She was being unreasonable and when I tried explaining things to her, she started yelling at me.  We ended up mad at each other and haven’t talked since then.  I sorely miss her and I feel somewhat guilty for yelling back at her.  But nature is taking its course, she texted me a while ago asking me for something.  I replied right away and that started us talking to each other again.  Sisters will always be sisters no matter what, right?

    Page Not Found

    Posted on @ 2:45 pm

404errorYesterday while dropping cards, Google Error 404 suddenly popped on my screen.  I tried opening several sites and I still got the same results.  I was already panicking, thinking there could be something wrong with my PC.  Thought I got a virus or something.  I texted my friend and asked what was happening, it turned out that Google was down at that time.  Whew! I thought I opened a site with virus and that infected my PC.
